About the UKSSB
The United Kingdom Spine Societies Board (UKSSB) is an organisation composed of National Spinal Societies:
The Board includes representatives of the British Orthopaedic Association (BOA), the Society of British Neurological Surgeons (SBNS), along with co-opted members.

The object of UKSSB is to promote the development of treatment of spinal disorders through education, study and research for the benefit of the public and the United Kingdom.
​
To pursue these objectives, but not by way of limitation, the UKSSB will have the following powers:

To foster and encourage instruction, training and research in spinal disorders.

To hold a scientific and educational meeting entitled “BritSpine” every 2 years.

To maintain an accurate mailing list of the total members of the SBPR, BSS, BASS, BASCIS and NSN.

To maintain a mailing list of individuals with an interest in spinal disorders.

To maintain a mailing list of national and international professional organisations with an interest in spinal disorders.

To maintain a mailing list of industrial organisations with an interest in the spine.

To promote and facilitate the dissemination of information on spinal disorders, including meetings, courses, research and publications.

To encourage co-operation between national organisations with interests in spinal disorders.

To promote international collaboration in the field of spinal disorders.
