Do you need a grant to fund your next Spinal Cord Injury research project?

Stoke Mandeville Spinal Research is an independent charity dedicated to funding research that will help to improve quality of life for people living with spinal cord injury (SCI).

There are around 40,000 people living in the UK with SCI, many of whom will experience complications from their injury.  Their new Research Grants Programme is focused on the following areas each of which affects the quality of life of people living with spinal cord injury (SCI):

  • Assistive Technology Primarily for Upper Limb Function

  • Neuropathic Pain

  • Pressure Ulcers

  • Urinary Tract Infection

They provide grants of up to £100,000 per year for up to 3 years, but also welcome applications for smaller projects.  You should be realistic and request a level and duration of funding that is appropriate to your proposed activities.


Deadline for submission of preliminary applications: Fri 1st November, 5pm (UK time)
