Educational Day - 28 November - Europa Hotel, Belfast, Northern Ireland
On behalf of the BSS organising committee, we would like to invite you to the educational day prior to the BSS scientific meeting. The day is aimed at trainees and consultants at all levels. It will focus on lectures from experts in the field of scoliosis, panel discussions and case presentations. The aim is to look at subjects, with experts in the field providing balanced views on difficult topics for consultants and trainees alike.
Topics we will cover include;
- Adolescent idiopathic scoliosis
- assessment, options, surgical planning and strategies
- Spondylolisthesis grade 3 and above
- Surgical solutions
- Adult spinal deformity
- Pre-operative planning to determine surgical strategies
- and a session on the FRCS Tr & O exam, focusing on what you should know for the exam from a spinal point of view
